98% of my content is written for no monetary compensation, I do accept forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions, or product or services for review.
That being said, any compensation received will never influence my honest opinion of the content, topics, or posts made in this blog.
Affiliate Links
I will disclose whether or not I have received a free product, trip, or service to review within each post, as well as letting you know if there are affiliate links within an article.
Amazon
The Life in my Years is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
In addition to Amazon, I do occasionally use other affiliate programs as well. If there is a link to a product, you should assume that it is an affiliate link. When you purchase from any of these affiliate links I receive a small commission without affecting the price you pay for it.
Transparency
I work hard to build trust with my readers and I will not jeopardize that for any amount of money. I am offered opportunities which I don’t think are a good fit for me, and you won’t see those here.
I will never tell you I like a product I’ve agreed to review when I don’t. I am selective about the affiliate products I support. I am also selective about the products I accept for review or to giveaway and you should know that I do not recommend anything to you that I do not myself like.
